Our biggest challenge was potential delays of equipment availability from impact of the COVID-19 virus.
Clubhouse WiFi Completed November 2020
We have replaced the Comcast supplied Wi-Fi system with a product called EERO. The Comcast Wi-Fi solution was not able to meet our requirements, the internet router subscription speed is 150 mb and is still provided by Comcast.
Highlights of our new EERO system include:
- 100% coverage of the office, main meeting room, apartment, fitness room, pool deck and 60% of the tennis courts.
- in the core areas we measured download speeds of 175 Mbps and uploads at 20Mbps
- median speed of all areas is in excess of 90 Mbps!
We installed the EERO basic system 6 which is the latest in mesh technology. Our install includes 3 modules to provide the coverage required and can be expanded.
Feel free to contact John Jaakkola if you wish more information.
