Jonathan Harbour where living in PARADISE is a WAY OF LIFE!

Jonathan Harbour is a gated community located on beautiful Connie Mack Island, Florida just east of the Sanibel Causeway and Punta Rassa.



Entry is available through your PERSONAL Entry Code, FOB (HOA members only), Vendor Code or with an RFID sticker which will be scanned, or the Smartphone App.

GATE PHONE NUMBER:

The PHONE number for the JH Gate is ‭(239) 990-9950‬. You may want to add this to your PHONE CONTACTS.

PERSONAL CODE OR ENTRY CODE:

Your 6 digit Personal ENTRY Code allows you to come through the Gate.  It is your LOT# plus the last 3 digits of the preferred phone number (or the # we have changed it to if you requested a change)... then push ENTER. Add enough 0s in FRONT of the LOT# to make 6 digits: For example, if your lot is #1 and your last 3 digits of the primary phone are 999 your code would be: 001999

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS CODE TO VENDORS/CONTRACTORS. This is an important security issue. If you are using your PERSONAL ENTRY CODE at the gate, you press "Entry Code Pin"

DIRECTORY CODE:

Your 6 digit Directory Code was sent to you via email. That is the code for people to use when you don’t want them to have to search the Directory at the Gate. Directory Code is a shortcut for your visitors to dial you vs. having to look you up.

If you have someone coming to the gate and you have given them your DIRECTORY CODE, they need to press "Phone Call" then the option "I Have A Directory Code." From the "Phone Call" option they can also search the directory.

VISITOR GATE ENTRY:

Visitors can gain entry either by looking up your name on the Kiosk DIRECTORY or by you giving them your Directory Code (do NOT give your PERSONAL ENTRY code).  It will ring on your primary phone #.  Dial 9 to grant ACCESS with your phone after it rings from the gate.

Automobile "home links"/remotes/”clickers” still work - no reprogramming is required. 

Remote controls can be obtained from the JH Management Company (see first page of Community Directory & Vendor Code) on our website.

If you've opted for the Smartphone Mobile App (Described below) you can also use the app to generate a "Guest Pass" (Photo in Mobile App section)

VENDOR CODE:

There is no “Key” 🗝 nor ✳️ required. The vendor code is on the first page of the Community Directory on the JH Website. The vendor code will work Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM and Saturday 8:00AM to 12:00PM. No vendor activity is permitted on Sundays or after noon Saturdays.

FOB:

For HOA Members ONLY: The FOB for the Clubhouse can be used to enter through the Gate. If you haven’t received the NEW FOB (black) please arrange to get one from either Toni Hullstrung or JH Management Company (see first page of Community Directory & Vendor Code) on our website. One is free, additional FOBs are $10 with a check made out to Jonathan Harbour Community Association.  Just swipe the FOB on the black box located on the Kiosk. 

SMARTPHONE APP - VIDEO FEATURE:

For those with a mobile/cell smart phone listed as the primary number, you will be able to view the camera to see who is at the Gate. This feature has an extra cost which will be covered with your HOA dues.

The MyQ Community App also offers the ability to open the gate remotely and using "Siri" on iPhones or your personal assistant on android phones.

If you request this feature you will receive an email invitation that you need to activate from MyQ Community. You will need to download the APP following the instructions. NOTE: After it is installed, when you get a call from the gate if you have trouble with the link not connecting to the video, you may need to turn off the WIFI on your phone.

For those of you who are not part of the HOA we will request a small administrative fee of $35 annually via a check made out to Jonathan Harbour Community Association prior to activation.

RFID Sticker Instructions:

The JHCA BOD voted to introduce RFID scanner entry with an RFID sticker.  The sticker goes in the windshield similar to LeeWay or SunPass.  

It is recommended that the sticker be put on with Scotch Tape at first to determine if you have it correctly placed and it is scanning properly.  Try PASSENGER SIDE first.  You can try various locations and then stick it permanently once you find out what works best on your vehicle.
